Course Description
This course introduces the fundamentals of Spanish grammar including the study of verbs in the present tense, stem changing verbs, subject and object pronouns, definite and indefinite articles and agreement. Vocabulary focuses on greetings and introductions, describing characteristics, families, classes and classroom objects and schedules, telling time, talking on the phone, sports, the weather, clothing and accessories, requesting and giving directions, shopping and food. The four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing are practiced. No previous knowledge of the language is required.
